Record of the day
I am a great believer that the wedding day is the bride and grooms day! As such I work as quietly, quickly and unobtrusively as possible. This way of working lends itself naturally to the reportage style of photography allowing me where possible to work with available light and to capture natural relaxed images of you and your guests. At the same time I realise that most couples like a few formal more traditional shots. I advise couples to have a list of no more than 12 formal shots with family, bridesmaids, best man, etc so as to keep the day moving and avoid frustrations.
The Photographer
I cannot stress enough how important it is that you trust your photographer. This is the most important day of your life and you need to know your photographer will be there for you. With this in mind I fully recommend that you speak to as many photographers as you can and when you make your final choice don't just think about the price and what the photographer is offering, but how well you relate to each other and communicate.
For my part I try to be as open as possible and listen to your needs. I like to make myself available for you to talk to, especially on the day, where you can speak to either myself or my assistant photographer should you require photographs not previously spoken about.
