Wedding Terms and Conditions
Booking Fee and Payments
1.1 A deposite of £50 (non refundable) should be paid at the time of the booking. Bookings within fourteen days of the wedding must be paid in full at the time of the booking. Bookings within seven days of the wedding must be paid in full by cash.
1.2 Payment for prints is required in full at the time of ordering.
1.3 Pelling Photography can only except cash or cheque at this time. Cheques made payable to Darren Pelling.
1.4 Weddings outside a fifty mile radius will be subject to an additional price to the package fee and this additional charge will be confirmed when the exact location is known.
Licence
2.1 Pelling Photography are to be granted artistic license with respect to the poses, backgrounds and locations used. Every effort will be made to satisfy the wishes of the client after discussions with them and to accommodate all the photographic shots required.
2.2 Pelling Photography can not be held liable if for instances of bad weather, non participating models or associated parties or any other circumstances at the time of the sitting that causes photographs not to be taken to Pelling Photograph's instructions, in this instance the best judgement of Pelling Photography will be made.
Copyright
3.1 Under the 1988 Copyright Designs and Patents Act, the copyright of all photographs belong to the Photographer and the company Pelling Photography. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied any photographs belonging to the Photographer. It is a requirement of the Contract that all reprints/copies are to be handled through Pelling Photography. Any use of photographs for publication purposes by the client shall require the permission of Pelling Photography. Pelling Photography have the right to use any photographs under this Contract for Display, Publication or Competition, including the World Wide Web.
Cancellations
4.1 The £50 deposite for the Wedding is non refundable. The said sum is payable as compensation of lost bookings and other losses Pelling Photography may suffer.
4.2 Cancellations up to ten weeks before the sitting can be re-appointed, but re-appointed sitting must be within six months of original sitting.
4.3 Cancellations within ten weeks of the sitting, re-appointment will be at the discretion of Pelling Photography.
The Shoot
5.1 Pelling Photography may require the use of at least two 240V sockets. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the electrical supply is safe. Pelling Photography cannot in any way be held responsible for any problems as a result of electricity failure.
5.2 There will be trip hazards around, flash units and photographic equipment can cause injury or death if handled incorrectly. It is the responsibility of individuals to ensure their own safety and that of children and pets.
5.3 The photographer and any representative of Pelling Photography has the right to stop any sitting at any time without consultation if they feel it is unsafe to continue.
5.4 No food or drink is allowed near the photographic equipment.
Proof Images
6.1 You will have access to a personal password protected web page. You will be provided with the password for this page when the proofs are ready.
6.2 Pelling Photography aims to have proof images available for you to view within two weeks of the sitting. However, during busy periods this may take longer.
6.3 Pelling Photography does not provide prints or CD's of proof images.
Prints
7.1 You will recieve all images in high resolution JPG's, fully unlicensed on CD or DVD.
7.2 All prints are sized nominal.
7.3 The prints will provide a pleasing colour balance, however, Pelling Photography cannot guarantee exact colour matching. Owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials, especially man made fibres, it is impossible to record on film or digital media the exact colour of materials as seen by the human eye.
7.4 The monitor used by Pelling Photography to assess the images is colour calibrated on a regular basis. It is unlikely that the monitor you will view your proof images on will be colour calibrated, therefore colours are unlikely to match that of the prints.
7.5 All prints are professional photographic prints on photographic paper, they are not computer prints.
7.6 Prints do not come with mounts or frames, just the prints
Postage Cost of Prints
8.1 Prints are posted directly from the printers, therefore Pelling Photography has no control over postage cost.
Delivery of Prints
9.1 Pelling Photography aims to have your prints to you within two weeks. However, prints are posted direct to you from the printers and Pelling Photography cannot be held liable for any delays.
9.2 Pelling Photography cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery caused by third parties or any circumstances out of Pelling Photography's control.
General
10.1 Pelling Photography cannot be held responsible for breach of these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond their control. These circumstance include but are not limited to: lack of access to the venue/location, weather conditions, injury or death, stolen equipment, etc.
10.2 Pelling Photography reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions with immediate effect and without prior notice.
Offers
11.1 Only one offer can be redeemed per sitting.
11.2 Offer coupons MUST be declared no later than the sitting, all offers are void after the sitting.
11.3 Offers can change without prior notice.
1.4 Offers expire on the date shown on this web site and cannot be transfered.
